HARDWOOD DOORS WITH SEMI-REFLECTIVE GLASS

The brief from our customer here was to improve their security and their privacy without resorting to patterned or obscured glass. Our solution - a pair of hardwood doors, half-glazed with coated glass and with high-security multi-point locking and hinges.

The double-glazed units are made up with Antelio glass from Saint Gobain which, although marketed as a solar control glass, offers excellent reflective properties during daylight hours. As you can see from the photo, this is not a mirror finish but the level of reflection is very good, giving a high degree of privacy to the inside.

Below the mid-rails we have fitted hardwood-faced insulation panels which are made-to-measure and have a bevelled surround.
