ARCHED TIMBER DOOR FOR BARN CONVERSION PROJECT
This conversion project in the Peak District comprised a number of timber sash windows, front and back doors and a couple of quite tightly arched stone openings that needed doors with matching sidelights.
On any project like this it is essential to take templates of every arch in order to get a perfect fit. Rarely are the openings a true radius and very often the arches are not even symmetrical.
The door has multi-point locking and fully-adjustable security hinges but to maintain a rural appearance, we fitted hand-forged, black 'Avon' handles by 'From the Anvil' which look really good.
