TIMBER WINDOWS AND HARDWOOD PORCH INSTALLATION IN A 1930'S HOUSE IN NEWCASTLE

Many houses built in the 1930's have open porches covered by a pitched tiled roof. This photograph of our installation in Newcastle, shows how they can easily be converted into enclosed porches offering extra insulation, security and space for wellies, toys or bikes. You can see the original porch on the house next door.

This instalation comprised WER 'A'-Rated timber flush casement windows and two new timber entrance doors. No structural building work was required which kept the costs down. It was simply a case of filling in the spaces with timber windows, corner posts and doors.
