CAN WOODEN CASEMENT WINDOWS BE RETROFITTED INTO EXISTING WINDOW FRAMES?

I guess the answer is yes - but why would you?

We do see casement windows fitted as inserts into old sash window boxes but never casements fitted into casements.

To ensure our windows are weather proof and secure they are made as complete units - frames and sashes that work together.
