DO TIMBER WINDOWS WARP OVER TIME?
Timber windows should not warp although, as it is a natural material, there is the potential for it do so.
We only use engineered timbers which have laminated sections where the grain structures are positioned in opposite directions. By constructing timber like this the strength and rigidity of the sections is significantly increased compared to solid lengths of timber where the grain runs in the same direction increasing the risk of bowing and warping.
Should any warping occur then our guarantees cover this under manufacturing defects.
