HORIZONTAL SLIDING SASH
Everybody is familiar with a vertical sliding sash window but how many are aware of a similar window turned through 90 degrees? The window is opened by sliding the sashes sideways.

This very traditional window known as the 'Yorkshire Slider' although it is found in all of the regions we install in.
Originally these single glazed windows would drag across the frame and could be rather stiff to open. Now however the sashes are fitted with tiny free-running wheels underneath so that despite the extra weight of the double-glazing, they glide open and shut very easily.

With weather-seals and robust locking systems, the Yorkshire Sliding Sash now offers excellent security and insulation.
