HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL TIMBER WINDOWS?

The answer to that is ‘it depends’ upon the complexity and quantity.

Windows where there is decorative panelling around the inside will take longer than those that fit straight up to a plaster line. Where a lime mortar finish is needed that will take longer than a simple silicone seal.

We find that there is almost as much time goes into the finishing of a replacement window as goes into the actual removal and fitting of the window. Ensuring any timber trims are cut, mitred and painted properly all takes time as does cleaning the glass, hoovering up and disposing of the rubbish.
