Timber Windows

WHAT LEVEL OF DISRUPTION SHOULD BE EXPECTED DURING NEW TIMBER WINDOW INSTALLATION?

We ask that curtains or blinds or taken down and anything breakable removed from the vicinity of the window - if there is heavy furniture to be moved then our installers are happy to move this for you. We work room by room so as to minimise disruption as best we can.

The removal of the old windows always looks far worse than it actually is but, as the saying goes, you can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs. There will be some airborne dust inevitably but we will have covered floors, and furniture if necessary, with dust sheets in advance.

Once the old window is out and we have prepared the reveal the new window is lifted into place - there is only a short period of time with no window in place.

Then its case of getting it plumb and level, fixing it in place and finishing off the inside and outside. We will then tidy up and move on to the next one.

The disruption of installing new timber windows is kept to a minimum.
